Final reports

Researchers and organisations receiving grants from the Swedish Research Council for Sport Science must submit a final report when the availability period has expired. To be able to submit a new grant application the following year, the final report should be submitted by September 15 at the latest.

When should I submit the final report?

A CIF-granted project should be reported when the availability period has expired. The dates of the availability period of your grant can be found in the online grant management system, in the contract of the approved project. Remember that the main applicant is responsible for submitting the final report.

To be able to submit a new grant application the following year, the final report should be submitted by September 15 at the latest.

How do I submit the final report?

You report your grant using the CIF online grant management system. The report consists of two parts - a scientific and a financial report.

The scientific report is completed and submitted directly within the grant management system. It does not require a signature.

As for the financial report, you should print a form from the system, complete and sign it. The department's financial manager should also sign it. Scan the form and email it to CIF. We accept digital signing with EduSign.

Approval of the final report

Once a complete final report has been submitted, CIF will review it, and may request additional information. The approval status will be displayed in the grant management system.

What should the final report include?

The final report consists of a financial and a scientific report. The specific requirements for the scientific report may vary depending on the grant type.

Financial report
Scientific report for a project or postdoc grant
Scientific report for a grant to an organisation, a collaboration or a network
