Research grants for sports-related research are applied once a year. Sports science may include all areas of research and all applications must be clearly relevant to sport. The next call opens in June 2023 and it closes on 15 September 2023 at 5 PM (CEST).
CIF's research funding
- CIF allocates approximately SEK 22 million annually to research grants.
- You need to have a PhD to be able to apply for a grant.
- You need to be employed at a Swedish university that manages the grants.
