Research funding on a bottom-up basis<\/h1>\n <\/div>\n
\n

The Swedish Research Council for Sport Science (CIF) provides funding for research through a ‘bottom-up’ grant application process.\u00a0 All applications must clearly demonstrate relevance to sport, and a broad definition of sport is used. Sports research can be conducted in any scientific field. Researchers at Swedish higher education institutions are eligible to apply for these grants.<\/p>\n

Each\u00a0 year, CIF announces three types of grants: project grants, postdoctoral grants, and grants for organisations, networks and cooperation.<\/p>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n<\/section>\n\n\n
