Relevance to sport

The Swedish Research Council for Sport Science (CIF) funds research with relevance to sport. The board of CIF has formulated definitions of “relevance to sport” to specify research eligible for funding. Find the definitions of relevance to sport here.

CIF does not fund research aiming at treating diseases using sport.

Research ethics

There are regulations that you, as a researcher, are obliged to follow in your research. Before starting your project, ensure you have the necessary permits and approvals. In your application to the Swedish Research Council for Sport Research, you must explain how you handle the ethical issues that your research raises.
